N.I.B. by Black Sabbath

This is a love song for you baby. I know you know what i mean.

Oh yeah!
Some people say my love cannot be true
Please believe me, my love, and I'll show you
I will give you those things you thought unreal
The sun, the moon, the stars all bear my seal
Oh yeah!
Follow me now and you will not regret
Leaving the life you led before we met
You are the first to have this love of mine
Forever with me 'till the end of time
Your love for me has just got to be real
Before you know the way I'm going to feel
I'm going to feel
I'm going to feel
Oh yeah!
Now I have you with me, under my power
Our love grows stronger now with every hour
Look into my eyes, you will see who I am
My name is Lucifer, please take my hand

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"N.I.B." is a song released by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It first appeared as the fourth track on the band's 1970 album, Black Sabbath. The lyrics are about falling in love and the devil.

"N.I.B." begins with a bass solo by Geezer Butler. It involves the use of wah-wah on his bass. The song's main riff is similar to Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love".

Contrary to common belief, "N.I.B." does not stand for "Nativity In Black." Drummer Bill Ward had a beard that singer Ozzy Osbourne said looked like the nib of a fountain pen. The band named the song after the nib and added initials so the name would be more mysterious. There are two Black Sabbath tribute albums named Nativity in Black, based on the faux acronym.

Many bands, including Type O Negative, Ugly Kid Joe and Pitchshifter, have covered the song. Osbourne and Primus recorded the song for Nativity in Black II. This version also appears in Osbourne's boxed set Prince of Darkness.

Thoughts of Going Home

It's my 4th week here in Legazpi, Albay. It's beautiful here in Legazpi. Garbage, traffic, smog and trash is very minimal compared to the nightmare at Metro Manila. And oh, I still get awed by the majestic sight of Mayon Volcano everytime i get a glimpse of her. I love the dishes here: the spicy Bicol express and the luscious pinangat. I regret that i haven't learned much of the Bicol language. Well my job here is finished and i'm thinking of going home to Metro Manila tonight. I want to stay here for a couple of weeks more but i have some other things to attend to at Metro Manila.

We did the automation of a regional pawnshop company here, using open-source technologies. The project is J2EE-based, with JBoss as the middle-tier and PostgreSQL as the backend database. The frontend is a web-based thin client interfade. We used Struts as the MVC framework for the J2EE and used JasperReports for printing PDF reports. And Suse Linux for the operating system. We will be back again here next week to deploy the system to the 50 branches of the pawnshop company all around here in Bicol. And also to finish the remaining JasperReports operations.

Oh I remember, today is the 26th birthday of Ken, my ex-girlfriend. I missed her. Actually I decided to go here in Legazpi to forget about her when she broke up with me. But then I still can't forget her.
